Why so many storm for nothing?

The equation is easy:

1 song on the station = 4 points (on Thursdays you got 12 points per song)

C'mon Jeff, please, answer to us.

How many times a song (or artist) must be requested to start playing on some station?

05-07-2011 (10:22 pm)

Just to stay in this type of question...

Why the music scheduler, schedules the same artist to play in so few hours and others don't even play?

For example, I listen regularly the 70's Rock channel (Classic Rock), in 2 hours the channel plays 2 or 3 songs of Tom Petty but none of the Led Zeppelin. And then, out of nothing the songs of Tom Petty stop playing because there aren't much songs of then and start to paly an almost sequence of AC/DC.

That was just an example. It happens with other artists that have more than 4 sngs to play on the radio. And it happens on the other channels also.

That's a great 70's Rock from the group Pilot.

It would be good if were also added these songs from Piot

Just my opinion Jeff, but I think you should turn the name of the station to Classic Rock Channel again instead of 70's Rock.

This station doesn't play only 70's Rock, there lots of songs from the 60's and 80's, even some 90's playing on the station.

Not only Stevie Ray Vaughan, but great names like Muddy Waters, Albert King, BB King, and many others...

Hi Jeff,

What do you think of someday open a Blues channel in 977? It would be great to have a station that plays all the great blues men of all time.

If you really wanna listen to Eminem, you should ask them to play Eminem on the Mix channel.

As the name says, Mix channel is for everything (almost).

If you will define what would be played or not on the Alternative channel, 80% of what is playing nowadays would not play, because it is not even similar to what is Alternative in its essency.

The Alternative era were among final 80's and middle 90's.

For example: Nirvana and Pearl Jam are always playing on Alternative channel but they aren't Alternative, they are pure Grunge (a style that have nothing of Alternative).
